I just knew that you were going to release knitr the moment I sent my question. Thanks. It's already built for Windows on CRAN and installable via the main site (but not yet all the mirrors). I tried to test things. I installed lyxknitr.R and knitr.module into c:/users/me/appdata/roaming/LyX20/scripts and ./layouts, and reconfigured. But Knitr doesn't show up as a module under Documents -> Settings -> Modules. Reconfigure didn't even look under c:/users... , so maybe I need to tell it to?
