(on) doesn't seem to do anything.
I should add that in 2.3.6 I never got math preview to work either, but it

In inserted graphics, we can select a page from a multi-page pdf using
"latex and lyx options". This will show the correct graphics in the
pdf output. But the preview always shows page 1. Would be nice to
implement something to fix the preview.

How do you see latin9?
In lyx the setting Document/settings/language/encoding is 'language default'.
If I try export/LaTeX/luatex or export/LaTeX/pdflatex it crashes.
Haven't tried other varieties.
What other info is needed? Do I need to supply the figures as well?

Started a new file. Then tried to save as. Select a directory to browse,

up, trying to figure out how to end a frame and then start another.

Loading up an old file, I got lots of errors related to image previews. These
are all pdfs, and all produced by matplotlib. Strangely, the 1st file I loaded
also had pdfs produced the same way and did not give errors.

Any convenient shortcut to select the content of the formula? I thought
clicking inside the math formula and choosing 'select whole inset' from
edit menu would do it, but seems to insist on selecting entire document!

In math mode I typed \text and then starting inputting my text, which should
have been the equivalent of $\text{R_{sym}}$, that is: a text-mode

I am including a pdf generated by xmgrace. The pdf looks fine, the preview
in lyx looks fine, but in the final pdf output, all the spaces between the
text in the graph (e.g., title subtitle) are removed! Any hints?
