Thanks Richard
I'll look into lypak.py. Actually I use Linux, Mac and Windows machines. I
wrote my thesis on a Mac, made some corrections on a Windows machine, but
now mostly use my eee pc which has eeebuntu on it. I didn't know about the

Hi developers,
The problem:
When I wrote my thesis it was helpful for me to include the full path of the
images as they would be located throughout my computer together with notes
and the macros that generated them. Thus, if I wanted to update a plot I
could easily locate the macro, which I saved
nearest to the courser in the LyX
document. This way one could preview collapsed figures without temporally
uncollapsing one to see what it is.
Cheers,
Chris.

Hi Richard,
Did you get a chance to look at the back-support of the sub-figure option?
Just tried rc3 and it still does not display my images correctly.
Cheers,
Chris.

Hi,
Ok here are the LyX snippets (including the file headers).

Great. I pleased that you are interested in resolving these. I like the idea
of being able to preview snippets of a document.
No one has said anything yet about offering some support for the old
subfigure method. This will be the critical issue that decides whether I'll
update to 1.6 during my the

I love the feature of the Insert cross-reference tool which enables one to copy

A small bug I don't see reported:
I am using LyX 1.53 on a Mac OS 10.4
I am running LyX with two "Windows" open (File->New Window) and frequently

The shortcut works, but I just realised that it leaves a singe quote " ` " on

I'm currently writing my thesis in LyX1.52 (on a mac os 10.4) and love it!
Just a small comment:
There is quite a large space between the footnote button and the text.
eg: some text [foot]
This prevents the user from easily being able to tell if a space has been added
by accident.
