Hi,

Possibly someone has already considered this, in which case thumbs up for it
being developed!

It would be really nice if the navigation menu for lists of figures and
equations could (optionally) show a small graphic of the images or
equations. For those of us with better graphical memories than memories for
words this would greatly speed up the process of searching for a
figure/equation. The size of these graphics could be scaled by the width of
the navigation menu.

Furthermore, it would be helpful if the list of figures and list of labels
etc highlighted the figure/label that is nearest to the courser in the LyX
document. This way one could preview collapsed figures without temporally
uncollapsing one to see what it is.

Cheers,

Chris.
