some time I concentrate on the InsetGraphics part.
If there is interest in continuing the work on the Gnome frontend than
I'll work it out to make it compileable, it's current state is lacking
in the dialogs part so it's not worth it to get it compiling just to
take a look at its current status.

I overlooked that, I do delete the XPM file after "conversion", just
that in the case that the original is XPM, I need no conversion and
probably delete the original.

I believe that the only place missing for jpg is the filename regex, if my

It's a trivial thing to fix :-)
Requires only unsetting the filter on xforms, and changing the variables
from int to float/double.

This is indeed used only for the LyX display, I'll see to it being a
general preference instead of per figure.

The dialog for Maths Panel Delimiters (Edit->Math Panel->[ ]) disables

I need to do this to InsetGraphics too, it is currently always displayed
centered on its own paragraph whereas the actual LaTeX display is
inlined.

Minor changes in GUII matrix.
Changes in tasks.php3 and roadmap.php3, reflecting my a small change in

Magick and
netpbm can do that.
Define a converter for imagemagick is to define a call to:
convert $$i $$o
under netpbm:

rest of the stuff images need (rotations and such)
