Mazal tov!
I finally got around to using very simple argumentless macros. They're so
convenient! Now, in order to create a protonated water dimer, I just type
"M-m m \hfiveotwo". Neat!
One note: I get stderr messages like "Macro2 hthreeo 5" each time I use a
macro. I assume some sort of debugging output is

Apologies if this has been requested before.
I would love to be able to insert citation references from the keyboard. I
recognize that the new citation menu is much cooler than the old one, but
I've lost that ability.
Would there be any way to set it up so that typing letters did a search

Warning: this email isn't about LyX!
When I try to install relocatable RPMs not as root, I get:
failed to open /var/lib/rpm/packages.rpm: Permission denied
Which makes sense because:

Why not just \include{foo.inc}

Ah! I f
I was all excited to see Angus' patch had gone in. However, I couldn't
compile FormPreferences.C. (Note: I didn't rerun autogen or configure or
whatever, so if that's the problem, then I'm sorry.)

Pardon my stupidity, but what's ExternalMaterial.lyx?

OK. I deleted lyxrc and preferences from .lyx (and downloaded this morning's
CVS for good measure). I still get the complaints from make, presumably
because I don't have notangle, but it just touches listerrors, which seems
to be what build-listerrors is supposed to do.
But I've still got some pr

Well done, Allan.
I like the thread thing, especially since I'm not reading lyx-users anymore.
By the way, "it's new home" should be "its new home". "It's" is an
abbreviation for "It is", while "Its" is an adjective meaning "belonging to
it".
Ah, I haven't been pedantic in a long time.
