Apologies if this has been requested before.
I would love to be able to insert citation references from the keyboard. I
recognize that the new citation menu is much cooler than the old one, but
I've lost that ability.
Would there be any way to set it up so that typing letters did a search
among the possible citations? That is, it would be cool if I could type
"M-i i" which would open the form, then type "R" and I would be taken to the
"R" section of the list of refs (I've got a lot of them taken from a bibtex
file) and then when I type the rest of the ref and, say, Left, that ref gets
placed in the left side field, and then when I type Return, it gets input.
But I guess that would overlap usability-wise with the two-field system you
have now. I wonder if there's a way to reconcile these issues?
