1. Switch keyboard layout to Spanish.
2. Start a new LyX document.
3. Go to View > Code Preview Pane.
4. Make sure the box "Automatic update" is checked.
5. Enter <<é>> by pressing <<'>> and then <>.
When I do that, nothing shows for me in the preview pane. If I then

They are only marginally different from the previous ones, but one more
round of testing would be worth it. I'll plan to release in a couple

Thanks! I noted that table borders are sometimes wrong on tex import. This
seems to be a tricky area.

I do not know much about this drawT/metricsT code. My guess is that it
never got finished. I do not remember seeing it work. Making an ascii
representation of a formula is a big job.
