I still don't get it. Why can the custom file dialog buttons not removed from the file dialog for
Linux? Then we have the same file dialog for all platforms, no matter how they will look on the
different OS. H

I'm not completely sure, but it looks to me that you could use setSidebarUrls
with qt 4.3 for this issue:
http://doc.trolltech.com/4.3/qfile
That was a little misleading. To recap:
Currently, the character *before the percent sign* is incorrectly greyed
out. That's what my patch fixes. It still leaves the percent sign (and
comment) greyed out.

Since LyX 1.5 we have no longer a button in the file open dialog to open example files. This was a
nice and useful feature especially for beginners who work through the Tutorial and test out LyX.
As I understood Abdel in

The attached patch is some sidework of my CJK investigation. It fixes an
issue that has annoyed me several times: when you have a footnote with
content in a foreign language, you get a prepending blank character, such
as in the attached example.
The problem is the LaTeX output

FWIW, I do not think ./autogen.sh did anything here. The problem is
with automake's dependency tracking which got confused. This happens
at 'make' time, but is not delted by a "make clea

Remember that exceptions are not supposed to crash for stable release
ATM, in the source view (eg in the preamble), the last character before
a comment (ie percent sign) is greyed out as if part of the comment. The
attached patch should fix this behavior.
