Because they are useful? There are other cases than this Example
button where this is used.

So we should downgrade linux because the other ones do not keep up?

We indicate these extra places (like bookmarks) in the places that
feel natural for the host OS.

Concerning the mac, I am not sure we are going to have problem. I
assum that trolltech fixes their bugs...

Are you going to add a menu entry for each of the cases where we add
buttons to our file dialog?
