That Linux users can easily click on a button to open example files and on Windows and Mac you
can't. Therefore it is hard for beginners to find the example files - average Win users don't look
in the installation folders of programs to look for examples.
And remember your post two days ago that people couldn't find the "example_lyxified.lyx" file on
Windows. That's because of exactly the problem that they don't have an access to the examples via a
menu or dialog as the Linux users.
