Hey, the Mac got away with it for years, so I suppose we'll survive :)

When the above is done well (which is not exactly the case in CVS), we have
a mathematical increasing fun

I seem to remember Bennett saying that LyX refused to allow him to load a
filename into a dialog using the Browse button if the filename (file
path?) contained spaces.

Of course against 1.4CVS, all proposals are for LyX 1.4 or 1.5.
I as stupid Win-user haven't ever seen LyX 1.4. So please be indulgent

Hi,
It seems that tex2lyx barfs with ÂFile not readable if I \include
without the tex suffix, which is the required syntax in my latex distro
(texlive-2004).
So tex2lyx should add the .tex suffix for \included files,
or check existence if some distributions are not sensitive to its presence.

- windows support: when loading a file in LyX through the explorer,
some action like viewing PDF subsequently fail. This is due to a

someone

Hi Lars
Would it be possible to enable directory listings/indexes for the
directory uploads/ on the wiki server? I'm assuming that we are fine
with allowing people to browse the uploaded files.
With 'uploads/', I'm referring to this directory on aussie.lyx.org:

OK, JMarc. No solution yet, but I have just finished building LyX 1.3.x
on Win32 and it does indeed display the problem. Screenshot attached.
Your mail suggests that you have the patch to hand. If so, throw it this
way. If not, then I'll go digging.
I dug. The attached patch

Do you have problems with 1.4.0cvs? The counting code seems reasonable

Hi everybody,
I tried a full compilation of lyx-devel on Solaris-Sparc 8.
The compilation chunks on the lyx client with this:

Yes, this patch seems OK to me (both head and branch).
