Ah.. would it be enough to use .htaccess to require a password? And would 'LyX' be secret enough for this purpose? Another solution could be to have the wiki notify the documentation list everytime something is uploaded, just like today when a page is modified. (Could be a useful thing in general, I'll suggest this on the wiki list) As a side note: I think the 2 MB restriction on uploaded files will keep warez of the site... that's simply to small for people to bother with ISO images or mp3's etc. Btw, the page http://wiki.lyx.org/Site/AllRecentUploads should contain links to all the recently uploaded files.
