Hi everybody, I tried a full compilation of lyx-devel on Solaris-Sparc 8.
The compilation chunks on the lyx client with this: ld: warning: file /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/../../libstdc++.so: linked to /usr/local/lib/./libstdc++.so: attempted multiple inclusion of file Undefined first referenced symbol in file __xnet_connect client.o __xnet_socket client.o ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to lyxclient Does thois come from the multiple loading of libstdc++.so ? What library is missing ? I always compiled the releases from source without problem. Configure command: ./configure --with-version-suffix=-devel --with-frontend=qt --with-qt-dir=/usr/local/qt-3.1.2 --with-extra-lib=/usr/local/lib --with-extra-lib=/usr/local/qt-3.1.2/lib Result: Configuration Host type: sparc-sun-solaris2.8 Special build flags: warnings concept-checks assertions use-aspell compression C Compiler: gcc C Compiler flags: -W -Wall -I/usr/openwin/include -I/usr/local/include -g -O2 C++ Compiler: g++ (3.3.2) C++ Compiler flags: -W -Wall -I/usr/openwin/include -I/usr/local/include -g -O -fno-exceptions Linker flags: -L/usr/local/qt-3.1.2/lib -Wl,-R/usr/local/qt-3.1.2/lib Qt Frontend: Qt version: 3.1.2 Packaging: posix LyX binary dir: /usr/local/bin LyX files dir: /usr/local/share/lyx-devel TIA for any hint. -- Jean-Pierre
