I think an empty table is better.
But in the mean time you didn't answer my question: where can I disable it in
the code?

why not just a clean table?
while I am asking (jurgen?) at the moment I find the tabular dialog
inconvenient with the separate tabs for cells and columns with basically
identical options.

No I mean *all* lines. I don't want them. First of all I don't like vertical
lines in tables unless they really serve a purpose and usually they don't.
And why would I want a horizontal line after every row?
So I want a clean table

Where in the code can I disable the borders that a new tabular automatically
gets? I have been "unsetting" them for the last couple of years for every
table I have used.
Thanks, Ed.
How easy/difficult would it be to have the "text before" option working with
natbib?
I think that it would be nice to have this in 1.3...

I wanted to cut a selection with ctrl+x but didn't notice that caps lock was

1. lyx deleted the selection, and

Apart from the question whether ctrl+X should be bound to cut I don't think
that the present behaviour is desirable. I think that

FreeBSD 4.6 with XFree86 version 4.2.0.
I communicated this already to the maintainer of the Xforms port manager
for FreeBSD; FreeBSD simply needs a temporary patch to relocate

No, you're using the xforms image loader, hence that message:
The image loader can load the following directly:

I don't know much about this; all I wanted was including the graphics power
of Xforms 1.0.0 into my built (I've been using 'powerless' 0.88 until now).
I managed this far at present

Hi,
I've managed to compile LyX 1.3.0cvs with Xforms including the use of
Xforms' Image Loader on FreeBSD 4.6 PC.
However, all graphics shows up in only total black, including the
intro LyX graphics at startup.
For the startup, "lyx -dbg graphics" produces:

There's still something wrong, which is visible in the version text

Hi,
The time the menu pull-down remains visible, after selecting an item,
is much longer than before. Is this due to a code change in LyX, or
due to me upgrading to Xforms 1.0.0 ?
For example, when I select View->Postscript, the View pull-down remains

Hi,
LyX catches certain signals. When LyX gets, for example,
a ctrl-C, it tries to make an emergency save, but does not
remove the lyx_tmpdir. Shouldn't that be done? Especially
for "safe" signals such as ctrl-C.
Same for other signals that are caught, except may be for
the more desastrous sign
