Hello all
I am trying to extend an arpeggio line to cover the entire chord in the example
below.
I have tried using this:
{
\consists "Span_arpeggio_engraver"
}
and this:
\set Staff.connectArpeggios = ##t
<<
{ 4\arpeggio 2 }
\\
{ 2\arpeggio 2 }
>>
as given in Reference 1.

Dirck,
The two chords are of different duration.
\consists "Span_arpeggio_engraver" is not needed.

Was there a different MWE or attached file?

Hi again Jacques
Thanks for your trouble. I still can't make it work, but I found another
work-around to use: \once \override Arpeggio.positions = #'(-3 . 2)

Hi all
Reading that last thread about Frescobaldi and its possible disappearance from
Mac is causing me to panic. Jean, I did not realize that you were the last
person to seriously work on Frescobaldi / Mac.
I use Mac exclusively, and Frescobaldi / Lilypond is very important to me.

I am using rehearsal marks (\mark \default, to mark off repeated sections as

One of these sections ends at the end of a line. Is there an easy way to move

Is there a way to set the default spacing between staves in the \paper block?
Or is there a way to do it in a different block?

In the past, i have used a separate voice as a "spacing voice" to control
measures per line, horizontal space, etc.
For example, if i wanted 4 measures in a line, i would write : "s1*4 \break.

However if i do this to a monophonic staff, the default stem directi
