Hi Rick,
Hi just had a look at your code and it seems that the system-count = #2 in
the main document layout block is the problem. If your remove the

Hi Robert,
I've noticed the same bug in 2.9.13 page breaks are happening in odd places.
I have a score of 4 instruments where on the second page there is only one
system printed and a new page is started. It's clear that more systems could
have fitted.
I've forwarded this to bug-lilypond as

Thanks again Thies. I think I replied both to you and the group on this.
My main reason for getting the lyrics between the barlines was that they often hung outside the bar on the right hand side of the page. Even more so if there was an extender line with the lyric.
I tried the newly documented

Hi All,
I don't know whether these are bugs or not so I've sent it here first.
The breakbefore = ##t command doesn't seem to work when I put it in a header to force a page break.. for that matter... if I put "pagebreakbefore"... "gobblygoppagebreakbefore" (yes I put that line as I was so frustr
Hello All,
I'd like to thank Han-Wen for his work in implementing the new figured bass scheme in Lilypond. There was a lot of hard work put into this which has resulted in an easy way in which figuredbass numbers and extender lines can be added and formatted.
I would encourage anyone who uses start
Had the same problem here...
I sent an email to lilypond-devel about this so did Mats Bengtsson. I think this is a gsview problem not a lilypond problem as the .ps file is readable in another PS viewer program... a commercial one.. can't remember it's exact name but the program was unable to watch

Hi All..
Just a quick question with ancient time signatures. Looking a works by Frescobaldi and Monteverdi they use the old proportional time scheme. They use a mixture of ancient clefs and numbers .. e.g. O3 but there is no time signature setting for this so I guess this needs to be created with
advanced users offering all the bells and whistles. If I could get the linux version up and running I would use it. But might have to wait for a new version for that to happen. But in the meantime windows and native does work .. there's just a bit of coercion needed.

Yes I had the same problems with native lilypond but there are some work arounds.
Setting path to lilypond.exe doesn't work as there are some problems later with missing files that are there.
The way I use jEdit with Lilypond is to load the file into jEdit. I press the make lilypond file icon. It

could be a facility where people could share templates etc it might make grasping the technicalities of lilypond a little easier if people could start by entering music instead of figuring out the coding a score.

I've tried and tried and tried and tried... and I still can't get the figured bass above the bass line.
I've tried following the example in the regression test but since there is no other staves or variables used I can't put the code together that would place the figured bass above the bass line.
I tried the same with Cygwin ..got the same error message... tried copying the file and adding the extra .pfa but this time the same error occured with

I started using lilypond a couple of months ago but soon had to abandon it

Hi,
I had the same problems with Mandrake as well with some others but it seems
