Anyone have a Pollcat or similar for sale?
For the uneducated [as I was until a few days ago..] a Pollcat
is a RS232 SMDR buffer. It stores data until you download it.
Some have modems, some network ports. We can use a simple
232in/232 out model, I think.

I have a teltronics buffer. I think it needs proprietary software to make
it work though.

Why not connect a computer to the RS-232 ?
Computers any only $75.00 now !
You can add a modem to it too and then use it as a remote access device too!
We usually install a computer and connect Com1 to PBX and Com2 to TVS and
then we have full remote access from our office to the customer's sys

Having sat in on the process, I'm disappointed in the
industry..here's why.
This is multi-tenant. I recommended avoiding SMDR for billing
resolution, if possible, to avoid squabbles.
But the PRI carrier can not bill on outgoing CNID. Th

Has anyone ever adjusted or tried to adjust the spacing of the
incoming name thats printed out on the SMDR so more of the callers ID
name is printed out on paper?
