Why not connect a computer to the RS-232 ? Computers any only $75.00 now !
You can add a modem to it too and then use it as a remote access device too! We usually install a computer and connect Com1 to PBX and Com2 to TVS and then we have full remote access from our office to the customer's system. You can suck down the smdr using HyperTerminal, works great! For the uneducated [as I was until a few days ago..] a Pollcat is a RS232 SMDR buffer. It stores data until you download it. Some have modems, some network ports. We can use a simple 232in/232 out model, I think. -- A host is a host from coast to [EMAIL PROTECTED] & no one will talk to a host that's close........[v].(301) 56-LINUX Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433 _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
