Why not connect a computer to the RS-232 ?

Computers any only $75.00 now !

You can add a modem to it too and then use it as a remote access device too!

We usually install a computer and connect Com1 to PBX and Com2 to TVS and
then we have full remote access from our office to the customer's system.
You can suck down the smdr using HyperTerminal, works great!

For the uneducated [as I was until a few days ago..]  a Pollcat
is a RS232 SMDR buffer. It stores data until you download it.

Some have modems, some network ports. We can use a simple
232in/232 out model, I think.
