Thank-you thank-you. 20v works. Note to others: The Sipura seems to recognize the PSTN line status when it feels like it. I lowered to 20v and placed a test call which immediately worked. I then unplugged the KXT line from the Sipura and plugged it in again later and it didn't work. Powercycling

Email the Sipura support address. Unfortunately, they didn't listen to me when I told them about a reproducible bug in how one of their products handled answer supervision when set for reverse polarity, probably because most people would never have used that functionality. Its a pity. I haven't
