Just an "aside", look at the Vega 25
http://www.keison.co.uk/vegastream/vega_25.htm

Look familiar ?

I have one of these, which we have not got around to playing with as a
"point to point " audio link

On the other subject -

I had a problem with a Viking RAD-1 ( line powered) on a local pots
line that had a
"VP" ( vacant premise ) - that's what Ohio Bell called it when
someone "forgot" to remove a drop
from a removal and someone used the pair someplace else. SBC couldn't
seem to find the problem.
every time the "VP" was picked up, the RAD-1 would disconnect because
the voltage would drop below the
"magic" 30 volt point. Viking Tech support suggested a 12 volt wall wort
( from Radio trash) in series with
the line, the problem "went away".

Email the Sipura support address. Unfortunately, they didn't listen to me
when I told them about a reproducible bug in how one of their products handled
answer supervision when set for reverse polarity, probably because most people
would never have used that functionality. Its a pity. I haven't checked
lately to see if any of their updated firmware fixed the problem.

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the 'terminal'?
