Have you set up a DSS such that ALL devices on the system have their status
shown. Be sure that every port available is statused.
This will indicate if a person has left a phone off hook (digital, if left
off hook, will return to normal mode after a few minutes) or possible a
modem, or other anal
I have had this happen a couple of times on a TDA100. I would reset the card
by taking it ous and back ins, and the CO would clear. Has not happened for
some time. Also on this same system I had 2 DLC16 cards go bad. It seems
that once those cards were replaced, the CO problem also stopped.
BTW
Is the phone line busy when you dial in from an outside line? (KSU is
not really seizing the line)
Will the line clear if you momentarily SHORT the co line? (Leakage
problem in KSU co circuit)
Can you set up a DSS for all the stations, to see if a station is "in
use" while the co is "busy"?
