Look at the SMDR.  Although I had a 1232 port "ghost" picking up and 
dropping incoming calls when set to ring, set connected or not, and it did 
NOT show on the SMDR - wasn't "really" happening.  But, if you have a short 
in a xdp connected cable or the like, it will throw a SMDR record.
