My KX-TD308, which has been working fine for two years, has in the past
few days failed on the first four analog ports. That is, they actually
appear fine, except they don't transmit or receive sound. You can answer
or originate a call from them, but you can't be heard by or hear the other
party. N
I'm helping my church with some phone issues, and for the DSL service, I
want to put a jack for the DSL modem next to the jack for the phone. I've
installed a splitter on the outside wall, so the data half is split off
before it comes into the building. The existing phone jack is on an

hooked up as well as the opener. Can anyone think of a way I can direct an
external call through the TVS to open the door?

I have a TVS50 I'm just getting to know. I have the installation manual,
but I'm having some trouble getting off the ground. Last night, when I
first powered it up, I had it connected to my PC with a serial cable. It
seemed to do all the right things, except that the communication was

1. Is there any way to "name" a phantom extension?
