If you have the original paper card under the plastic, pull it out and look for

Seriuosly tho, I've never heard of a global volume adjustment on these systems.
It's certainly not in the manual if there is. There may be a couple of pots on
the main board, you could try fiddling with them.

Remove the base (4 screws) and dialpad board (~11 screws), remove buttons and
soak in hot water. Take a toothbrush and clean the shell. Put the whole thing
back together. Presto!

336 is "88" and you then have to dial a 2 digit trunk group number.
Put the IP trunk on an "SCO" (single CO) button on the phones that need it.

Probably a circuit problem. Has anyone pointed the finger at SBC yet?
There's a remote chance it is a problem with the slot or shelf that the
offending card/circuit is using.
Put the offending circuit into another card that is in a known good slot, in a
known good cabinet.

Cool, a DBS Question!
-Another phone(s) has lit the offending sets msg light. To turn it off, go
off-hook and press "auto" and then "flash". You may have to do it up to 4 times
to get the light to turn off.
It is possible to prohibit phones (except VM ports) from lighting msg lights via

Seems Teledynamics has a "ring silencer" for about 3 bucks.
