Na, this is a stress reliever after we leave work for some, right?

a) The ones I've run into took ~10 rings before they then answer
the 2nd call. But I suppose the $29.95 ADT special might not be
that savvy.
b) I'm sorta surprised no one caught that fax sounds different
than the usual modem cadence.

Cheap Humidors,
I have ordered from Ablecomm and everything was perfect. So before you
go and talk badly about one of the group's fellow members companies,
please rethink it more then once. Doing so only makes you look bad,
being that it was your own error causing the problems.

I don't know what you have against Ablecomm, but I hardly think that blaming
them for your lack of skill as a phoneman is warranted.
A nice thing about this forum is that the rep you talked to from Ablecomm is
a list member and is able to respond. I realize its your word against his,
so let me do
uh, welcome to the cyber disease of rant-n-rave. It rears it ugly head (or
perhaps heads its ugly rear) every so often. People just dont think to be
civil sometimes. Fortunately, most people on this list are pretty cool so
it usually fades away quickly and we all get back to helping each other.

if it doesn't interest me, I hit the delete key. FWIW, I've gotten bailed

I'd be VERY surprised if it weren't an alarm panel modem as someone else has
already statedFWIW, I ALWAYS connect these stupid things to the last
line, not the first. This goes for satellite receivers as well. That way,
when a storm blows them up (and one WILL blow them up)...the customer only

No David, you got a brand new unit, with a one-year warranty, shipped to
you last December.

Man, you guys rock. It was totally the Alarm System causing the problems.
I have spent countless hours trying to figure this one out and nobody was
able to solve it.
Regarding the old prompts, I have no solution as of yet, no idea why there
is no TONE to leave a message. All I can think of is t

It's not a fax. It's a modem in their alarm system. This is how they
are programmed remotely. You call the number, let it ring a few times,
and then immediately call back and the alarm panel will answer.

May I ask, since this is fairly liableless information, how did you come
across such information? Just a note on the programmator software. I was
called in to reprogram a customer's software who had used the programmator.
It seemed to work very well with one exception. It seemed that after some

Based on information in the text, I am quite confident that the dealer
that condemned Programmator is located very near Orlando, FL. Since I am
only 99.9% sure, I will
