Hello All,
I am struggling with Phantom extensions...
1232-5 connected to a VPS110; Setup phantom extension on the system
(265-278) and setup mailboxes 265-278 with the corresponding phantom
extensions in the VPS.
In my Custom Service prompts a customer hits 1, which goes to phantom 265,
rings
oh, dream on!!!, that would be too useful.
And before you get too excited, be aware that ars is
easy to override by just pressing a line button.
You can use 605/6 outgoing co to assign certain
extensions to certain lines. the lines can be in the
same tgroup, but say ext 124-132 don't have 605
Be aware this does not entirely protect you from
charges!
There are companies using 800 numbers that can still
charge your telephone bill. They typically sell
internet or paging service billed monthly to your
phone number.
A customer/employee/visitor uses your phone to call
one of these numbers
You might want to try www.functionaldevices.com instead...
