Back in the early to mid 90's the Warp Drive 3 blade 62" prop was used on a VW
conversion done by Bob Wilson for the Kitfox and Avid Flyer. Also Mosler was
using them on
some of their engines. Wilsons 2180cc conversion broke 3 stroker crankshafts

I have a similar prop, BUT made by Bolly, Great prop, but I have a belt
drive, and also told they are not suited for a direct drive VW.

Hi Dave,
I have been flying behind one for about 450 hours. My application is
probably unique so I submit that you may want to take my report with a grain
of salt.

I had one on a KR-1 with an 1835. I liked the prop and thought it was fine.
You had to keep up on the torque of all the bolts and carefully adjust it so
that all blades tracked alike. Paint the tips a different color and by
looking at the tips when running you can see if you have gotten the pitch

Does anybody have any experience or thoughts about this prop? This
would be mated to a Revmaster 2100.
Thanks

Several things come to mind when you are discussing angles with a Warp Drive
prop.
One: where on the blade are you measuring the angle? If using the tip, you are
correct. Many people think you measure at the same place that prop makers
measure inches of pitch, at the 50% halfway point, whic

Since I haven't heard anything further about my Warp Drive Prop, I thought

Prior to shipping you my prop for use in the KR prop bank, I had replaced

Scott,
Mark Langford just sent me the first post you made which for some reason

Scott Cable,
I couldn't help noticing that you are talking about a warp drive prop that
you have been donating to the KR prop bank. I wonder Scott, is this the same
prop that I purchased with the "Blue Dream" but which somehow disappeared along
with the corvair engine when I asked to have

I just returned from the airport after yet another YE HAA
flight. A perfect day for flying. I just may have to go back and watch the sun
set from 3000'. Anyway, I flew the 52" diameter three blade Warp Drive set at

My hanger partner just sent me a chart that compare degrees of pitch to
inches of pitch on the warp drive props
Its in excel and originally for warp drive.
Email me direct if you would like it.

Hi folks
I'm after a 54-56" dia, SAE 1, 2" centre bored, anticlockwise, three blade
adjustable Warp Drive Prop for my Corvair 2700cc.
Anyone know of anything second hand over there.
I'm done with 2 blade wooden experiments now.
57" dia x 60" pitch gave 2800 rpm static.
57" dia x 56" pitch gave
