Don’t forget the next Covid flyin drive in is this week at Mount Vernon IL
our typical KR Gathering time. Was to be held in Lee Summit MO but canceled

Yesterday we had another "Flash Flyin", nicknamed Pandemic #6! The
usual suspects showed up, Jeff Scott, Larry Flesner, and me. Mike
Sylvester would have been there, but discovered a serious fuel leak that
will likely require some new carb parts. Robert Pesak was missing in
action, but Roger

Yes. Let's do. Sorry I couldn't make it today as I had already committed to
fly someone to breakfast and he had to be home early. Otherwise I would have

The "Flash Flyin" worked out pretty well. Weather was good, except for
a ceiling of only 7000' towards the end on the way out, but severe clear
on the way back, and nice temperatures, even at 9500'.
Mike and I flew out talking back on forth on the radio the whole way,
and Robert was already t
leaving for airport now, text if needed.

I've looked around and have some prospects, mainly Jackson, which is
very close to restaurants and appears to have a courtesy car also.
Still, I'm holding out hope for Bolivar, so we'll fly into Bolivar (M08)
at 10:00 CST, and if we haven't been able to swing the courtesy car, we
can hop over t
Yep, Bolivar at 10:00 AM Saturday morning for lunch. At this point I
haven't been able to contact the airport manager for a key to the
courtesy car. So we may have to call around to other nearby airports
and find one with a courtesy car or a restaurant on the field. Check

That's a good question Joe. I have a hard enough time just trying to figure out
if my KR is flyable or not from day to day. ;o) (Today, it's not) :o(
Actually, while the FAA database is less than accurate, it's probably be best
tool we have to get an accurate count of current registrations, at
Hey Guys,I have been asked several times the past few weeks "How many flying
KR's are there?" Does anyone have a handle on this question? I can give a guess
on how many are being built right now based on the net list members but not the
fling part.Thanks,Joe Horton,Cooperburg, PA.

I attended Dana's fly-in and it was wonderfull. Airplanes are airplanes.
My KR is 2 years from completion so I ran on the ground. With all the
complaints about the national fly-in being miserable weather KR's were
still absent on the most gorgeous day I have seen in 6 months.
