The "Flash Flyin" worked out pretty well. Weather was good, except for
a ceiling of only 7000' towards the end on the way out, but severe clear
on the way back, and nice temperatures, even at 9500'.
Mike and I flew out talking back on forth on the radio the whole way,
and Robert was already there when we arrived. Sam didn't make it, so
maybe next time for him. We were looking forward to tagging up with
him. We were pleasantly met by the guy manning the airport, and he
quickly offered up the "courtesy car", a black former undercover cop
car, so we traveled in style. Went to "Joe's Restaurant in Boliver for
a decent lunch, drove back to the airport, talked some more, refueled
(just to be nice...and the fuel was cheap), and we headed off into the
wild blue yonder. It was a very ice few hours, and I highly recommend
the therapy. Maybe in a few weeks we can have another one somewhere.
