So, while you all are flying around, I am repairing the set of wheel pants off my Dad’s 65 C182 (sanding, glassing, sanding, etc.). I sent the tbi off my KR back to Rotec to update it and correct its flaws. Too rich at idle and too lean at full throttle. While down, I plan to add the GRT autopilot servos and ADS-B. Christmas day, I flew my first night cross country from Harrisonville, MO home. Midway home, I saw another plane at the same altitude thanks to nav lights and strobes. We crossed paths with about 1/8 mile separation. If this would have been a hour sooner, I don’t know if I would have seen the other plane when I did. Gets your attention. I plan on installing the Uavionics Safe-Fly GPS + echoUA to couple with my efis and ipad mini. It should be a fairly straightforward install. The autopilot servos were previously wired and installed. I am just now buying the servos. Oh well. It good to see some KRs hanging out on occasion
