Netters,
It's been awhile since I last posted about "Snakebite". I received a call from
Joe H the other day asking about my progress on the plane..well.. Lets start
from beginning.
In October we had the Copper state Fly-in. For the last 3 years I was a
volunteer for the Fuel venture race.
Looking forward to get a look at your plane.

It was a long trip a year and a little ago. AZ to WI for Oshkosh, then to MI
over the big lake. Then to IN to see Bob G. Mt Vernon for fuel and home.
Well one day later home. I cracked the case on the 2387 VW. That has been
rebuilt and I have a new cowl. All CARBON. I still need to pull
Netters,
The net has been slower the past few months, so I will give you an update on
snakebite. The plenum is almost done on the new engine. We have made several
changes to the system, but think that all will be ok. I have photos but they
are not on the web site yet. I called and talked to
Netters,
Snakebite has not flown since Copperstate, mid October. I burned an exhaust
valve. I got the valve fixed but went to CA to Richard Shirley's place to help
rebuild the engine that I bought from him. We ran into an issue with the case
and I returned without the engine. Richard is go
Netters,
I had an issue with an exhaust value, I called a place and got an estimate of
$100.00 per head. I called Steve Glover and he said he got the same #. I
stopped by a company in a small company that deals with VW's. I informed him
of my situation and he said that it was no problem, and
Netters and Gathering Goers,
Most of you have heard by now of the mis adventures of Charlie Reeves and "The
other woman". I talked to him this morning and he is on his way to Tucson with
the plane on a trailer. I got up this morning with no wind and made the last
leg home. Total Hobbs time o

Netters,
Snakebite is almost ready for the air again. As most of you know I had an issue
