It was a long trip a year and a little ago. AZ to WI for Oshkosh, then to MI over the big lake. Then to IN to see Bob G. Mt Vernon for fuel and home. Well one day later home. I cracked the case on the 2387 VW. That has been rebuilt and I have a new cowl. All CARBON. I still need to pull a mold from the bottom and redo again but it will do for now. I got it fired up tonight, thank you net for the instructions. I ran it for about an hour, and all temps ollked real good. Copperstate flyin started today, and I wanted to get the plane down there for Fri and Sat. It is a 15 minute flight so what the heck,,,, lets do the testing on the way down. It appears that there will be about 15 people over to the house on Fri night for a cook out and Root Beer. My little KR Gathering on the WEST SIDE. more later and I will have photos.
