Netters, Snakebite has not flown since Copperstate, mid October. I burned an exhaust valve. I got the valve fixed but went to CA to Richard Shirley's place to help rebuild the engine that I bought from him. We ran into an issue with the case and I returned without the engine. Richard is going to finish it up. Thank you again Richard. I went out to the hangar on Saturday to put the heads back on. Oops head bolt broke. Easy out it out,,, lucky. Got the heads back on today and put the rest of it back together. Started it, it did not start real easy. It ran great on the elec ign, but bad on the Mag. I called and talked to Steve G. I miss wired #3 and #4, got them crossed up. I will fix that Monday, and be ready for a flight...... Yea!!!!!
