Thanks Mark I had read the instructions but it was a while back and I did not
prime it so that must have been it but has set for a while so a new diaphragm
could not hurt. Thanks again.

No, I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were the same. It's
only used to regulate the fuel pressure down to something less than 1 PSI.

There's not a lot to an Ellison carb. If it's an EFS-2 or 3, a Tillotson
diaphragm will swap out with the Ellison diaphragm. Having had one apart

This is a EFS-2 which some of you have looked for in the past. This model is no
longer manufactured by Ellison but they still support repairs, etc.
