Pete,
I have used regular over the counter fuel Injection hose for my turbo
dodge projects, it's been available since the advent of E-10 auto fuel
at auto-parts stores. Will handle FI pressures in excess of 60PSI and
lots of ethanol.
Hope this helps?

Bob,
Rustolium makes a black primer with some sort of phosphate additive for
use on rusty metal. Comes in spray cans. To answer your question, the
zinc phosphate will be fine, you would want to cover it with paint as a
protective cover, at least I would.
Carry on,

New aftermarket Waterboxer heads are available, ~$400 each.
The downside of those heads is that the combustion chamber is in the
pistons. Requires special pistons. The basic waterboxer is a type 1
design so there are a lot of crossover dimensions, so an experienced VW
engine guy could make it w

The KR can be as
serious or as frivolous as the builder wants to make it.
And this is why the KR1/2 design is still so popular after 50+ years of
existence.
I wonder if Ken and Stu had any idea of w
For those who have things to sell, take several photos, post them on a
photo sharing service like dropbox. There are several others. Post the
link here. If you really want to sell something, you will get a lot of
interest. That's what I would do.
Just my take.

Hi Henni,
How much does the Rotax 582 weigh? If it is lighter then a 2180 cc VW,
then you may have weight & balance issues.
You might want to check out the Stef den Boer website. Excellent write

Hi Hennie,
I am liking the photos. Could you somehow include the links to the
photos you post? There are some that I would like to follow up on with
the builder.

Peter,
The Spitfire was all metal, the Mosquito was plywood. Most A/C of the
time had fabric covered control surfaces, for lightness and ease of repair.

Hello Hennie,
There are 2 who are using type 4 VW's with PSRU's, 1 is air cooled, and
the other is a wasserboxer with a turbo. Both are heavily modified and
are quite sophisticated. I don't recall their names at the moment but
if you do a search on KR2 and Australia you should get some hits.
