Bob, Rustolium makes a black primer with some sort of phosphate additive for use on rusty metal. Comes in spray cans. To answer your question, the zinc phosphate will be fine, you would want to cover it with paint as a protective cover, at least I would. Carry on, Wayne > piney at mymts.n

Hello Hennie, There are 2 who are using type 4 VW's with PSRU's, 1 is air cooled, and the other is a wasserboxer with a turbo. Both are heavily modified and are quite sophisticated. I don't recall their names at the moment but if you do a search on KR2 and Australia you should get some hits.
