I believe Control Vision Anywhere Flight Planner Software now supports a GPS
on the PC.. I have used their PDA version and it works great.. makes a great
backup as well.
If you have to haul the PC with you in your luggage, you might as well turn
it on and put it to use!!!

My spars are a little taller than stock KR2 Spars. Still has enough wood to
be OK for through bolts.but I was thinking that it might be good to put a
thin plate of 4130 on the back side (actually front side nose dtragger!) of
the spar from the casting to strengthen it up (size of casting).

Not sure.. but I think there is an FAA requirement that there has to be an
indicator in the cockpit that shows the physical position of the elevator trim
tab. With the manual lever you can tell by the position of the handle.

I'm finishing up my elevator with Dr. Dean REB hinges. What did others do
to finish the holes where the hinges enter the leading edge of the elevator,

I was told by an old time A&P that Cessna had a belt driven vacuum pump on
early models after they pulled the venturi off probably around in the 60's. It
might be an option for KR Builders with Vairs if it were true.

glass to shoot through. Not sure I want the exhaust and oil on my camera!!!

I seemed to be confused on "Jeanette's Specs" being soon to be a new KR
Builder, the only specs I know of are the ones on her website... top speed 200,
cruise at 180. Are there other specifications that are posted and available
