I am purchasing a partially complete KR-2S and was thinking when it was finished that I would store it outside, covered on a tie down. The location would be Corona, CA which is in southern california with fairly stable temperatures, and not very much rain. I was going to make a complete cover for it. Tie Downs at Corona AJO can be obtained for $30 per month, and hangers generally run around $300 per month.
There has been a glassair out there for several years with no cover and seems to have faired fairly well. Was just looking for input, I am planning on flying it quite often, and may actually dismantle it in winter time and garage it.
