airworthiness status, and something happened yesterday that was really kind of
funny. Well, we are currently changing the engine out to a Revm
ORMA, Wow am I glad I wrote The Email!
I had not even thought about those conditions of preservation. Looks like I

engine and discovered the most wonderful thing. It looked as if it could

welcome to the groop. I am a two week old member myself, and have found all
the wisdom the members have to be a great help in my restoration of my
Huricane damaged KR2. I hope to somday fly mine to the gathering in indiana. I

I could say that I was just starting mine. The joiy I have had
FELA's IM in a bad spot. My wife and I were talking today about her
valentines present, and what she thought she deserved was a nice pare of
earrings.
Well, I couldn't resist the temptation of telling her that she would look much
better with a nice pair of wheel pants and a prop. Well, Ill be
Bob, you should coat the wood with spar varnish. It will seal the wood from
moister and will expand and contract with temperature change. Use clear so you
can look for cracks in the future.
Well, Mark I cant send you any of this Florida sun shine but I took my KR2
and pointed it to the South and fired her up and blew some heat your way.
Should be there in a week or so. Hang in there spring is coming!
Your spars should be fine as long as there is no sign of rot and they have
been kept in a good dry place. Coat them with spar varnish to protect them from

I have just recently purchased a KR2 that was damaged in Hurricane Ivan. She
will need some work on the tail and turtle shell and a new canopy. The plane
has 108 hours on it and the engine has 10 hours on it. Ivan wont keep this bird
down! ILL see to that. But the plane dose have some bad histor
