Ken’s N1436 was in the FAA building at Oshkosh. I am not sure where they have
it now. The last time I was at Oshkosh it was not in the FAA building. I would
be appropriate for them to display it this year.

and actually slightly climbing. Straight to the interstate and followed it to
the airport. Landed safely. I wouldn’t want to do that again!!!

Sure would be nice if someone would give us a recap of the Gathering. How many
KR’s and who took home the awards?
Thanks

Hey KR Heads.
The gathering is in 50 days!!! Only 13 are registered to attend, and 4 KR’s to
actually fly in. If you are going please go in the KR Gathering site and
register. I just ordered six trophies so we really need more planes there to
judge.
50 DAYS AND COUNTING!!!
Thanks

Heat… yep that’s it. I’ll tell y’all the story at the campfire. Beer? Most
likely involved.

I need to remove a bolt that is locked in place with high strength thread
lock. Yea don't even ask
The bolt will turn ever so slightly but that is it and I don't want to
damage it.
Any good bolt removal suggestions to release the thread lock?

Unfortunately he did not survive. There was no indication that he had secured
the sand bags and one speculation was that the weight shifted on him putting
him in an “out of controllable CG scenario “. So again, please be careful and
secure your test weight in the seat.

On a nose dragged, especially mine. I never rode the brakes. I did not touch
the brakes once the throttle was pushed in nor do I use brakes on landing until
it is time to exit the runway. I have never seen any indication of hot brakes
on any flight I every made in my KR.

Just had a visit from two awesome folks. Bernie and Dee Wunder. I am attempting
to post a photo of Bernie sitting in WunderBird.

Also, I forgot to mention that I got the Trymer 2000xp for FREE. I found a
manufacturer that uses it in their products. They usually have a cut off pile
of scrap Trymer and just might give it to you.
I was able to get pieces that were about a foot thick which made excellent wing
tips.

. Plus if I remember
