CongratulationsA Beautiful plane.
My KR had insufficient nose up trim when it first flew as well. I found the
horizontal stab angle of incidence to be off by 1 degree. I added trim to the
bottom of the elevator and flew it 500 hrs that way. Eventually, I built a
much larger horizontal stab
Absolutely big hoo raa. Congrats. Enjoyed the video too.
Way to go.

Given the early stage of testing, I'm sure that's "indicated airspeed".
That's something you always need on your first flight, so you'll have a
better idea of what your landing speed will be (IAS plus 10-1

I didn't explain that properlyThe whole tab is 75mm wide, with 30mm
hanging off the surface and 30mm hanging to the aft. A photo will help,
but I think you get the picture.
Also, springs on the elevator can excite flutter, so that I wouldn't
rush in that direction yet.

Contratulations Stef! It sounds like you have a nice bird to fly.
Welcome to the club!
A pretty small trim tab on the elevator should take care of the
nose-down trim nicely. Jim Faughn's N891JF was that way (and also left
wing heavy) to the extent that it would immediately turn left and drop
