I can tell you that the KR family is grown. This week was the PH-TDB for the first time airborn. Very emotional moment. At the last moment my test pilot decited to go alone....no problem, so I stayed on the ground. It was very nice to see how our baby gets airborn. I cant discribe the feeling...but it is great. Firts we arranged a other KR2s ( the PH-MIJ) to get some stick time for our test pilot. After one flight he decited that it was enough and took our plane... W&b When the test pilot gets back he had the complaint that the trim was not enough. The plane wants to go nose down. I am pretty sure the W&B will be alright so we made a extra trimtab. Now the plane will fly with no hands. So in the future I think to install a spring to the elevator horn...at this way the elavator is not that heavy any more. I think the trim tab will i hope enough (someone experiance with this?) I have a bit high oil temp so I have to arrange this. Yesterday I had my first training and made a good landing. Now the fun can begin. We have now 2 hours. I have a raw movie see the link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHS0Dk9EVno&feature=em-lsp https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHS0Dk9EVno&feature=em-lsp I will keep you informed for numbers One thing I now for sure. The plane climbs good with 2 big persons, and is quick to a speed at 120 kts. We did not test full throttle and cruise position at our prop. Stall with no haevy brake out. At 25 kts it starts decending but will not drop his nose, no brake out to the lh wing or rh wing. Keep you informed. Happy stef.
