A pretty small trim tab on the elevator should take care of the nose-down trim nicely. Jim Faughn's N891JF was that way (and also left wing heavy) to the extent that it would immediately turn left and drop the nose when the stick was released, and one small tab (roughly 75mm wide x 30mm) on elevator and aileron cured them both, with a few trial angle adjustments. Made are bent out of thin aluminum, with the 30mm part attached to the aircraft and the 75mm part hanging off the surface. I just screwed them on with two small diameter screws (3mm) with nuts. This makes them easily removable until you get the angle of the bend correct (mine are about 30 degrees). Those screws have been in place for three years now, and almost 400 hours of flight.
