I think I'm having better luck using Firefox instead of AOL or Chrome. I've
attempted on different networks. Same problems. my goal is to export the files
into my natural reader. So I can play them over my radio in my truck. I was
able to get the first set to download into my natural reader and
Is anyone having problems downloading the archive newsletters? I can only

I uploaded and downloaded them all, and it took 2-3 minutes each, and

I've heard people using 1.45 oz deck cloth. Saves all of finish ?prep work. I

FWIW, at best count, I think I have approximately 10 antenna that either
transmit or receive signals external to the aircraft. All are mounted within
the confines of the aircraft making them all zero drag. There is no reason to

Anyone out there have an opinion on glassing the fuselage other than the 2"
lap recommended @ fillets & turtle deck attachment or just a coat of varnish
and paint?
Please just an opinion. No math, my head hurts. Building wing tanks

I sure hope you weren't taking the acronym as an insult. None intended. I'm not
sure how much drag is generated by a transponder antenna. Maybe it's just my
aluminum airplane days talking.

the transmission of that transponder antnna is in the microwave band. ?You
should have some type of grounded barrier between the antenna and your
important parts of you body. ?You don't have this issue with me

Seeing the transponder fairing photo (second photo down at

finally attained on transponder antennas...there's no better fairing than
putting the stupid antenna inside the fuselage! My main obstacle to that
revelation during
