Some have extended them straight out the lead edge with no angle 
where they get bumped , bent, broken off by people walking around the 
airplane.  You then rip open the wing to fabricate a new one which 
again gets destroyed.  So, you make the third one removable and 
forget to install it before flight and have no airspeed at 
takeoff.  No, mine is per plans and works great.
