It would be helpful to know what kind of wheel it is.  Some use a straight roller bearing while others use a tapered bearing.  My hangar mate has a set of Tracy Obrian wheels that use a sealed bearing and thought he had a wobbly wheel.  The bearing simply wasn't fully seated.  Once seated, the w

My experience was much more simple. I love to build things. My neighbor Charlie used to build RC airplanes which pointed me into the Aviation direction. A Friend of mine suggestiong A&P off a wim about4 years ago.. I said why not and followed through with A&P school. Ive been on Cloud 9 ever since.

All good points Peter, I believe that I have covered each of them. I even replaced the taper bearings with the two from the other wheel. I separated the wheel halves and re assembled them. Looks good as far as I can tell. I will re inspect the races to verify they are seated. If all else fails I'll

if the wheel is cast alum. then the problem should be confined to the bearings. Are the races seated in the halves? Is there uneven wear in the taper bearings? Are the wheel halves touching all the way around when torqued? Peter
