I would say that the leading edge is the least protected area on the whole
plane. I thought about it too but moved mine behind the main spar.

I built fuel tank in the leading edge of my wings. Each one holds right at
nine gallons, ther are pictures on my photo bucket.

I was curious if anyone has made leading edge fuel tanks? I have been
looking into the idea but noticed only a couple people have done it. Any
problems with the idea that I might not be thinking about?
