The only reason I can see to put a small passenger in that area is if you already have a passenger in the right seat. That will have your CG well aft to start and adding that much weight in the baggage area, even if held close to the front seat, would put you to far rear on the CG. The KR is just not a big enough airplane to be moving that much weight any distance from the CG. I seem to recall my baggage limit is 15 pounds (approx 7kg) You also have control cables in that area to deal with and I can't imagine any way a small passenger could be fit comfortably into that area. Just my opinion. Someone with their CG numbers handy might try running those numbers and see what the results are. Larry Flesner
