Thanks, Dan this is outstanding and I just did a preview. I can't imagine
why I would need any more info. With all the crap I've ran into with this
plane that was ready to fly, you just made my YEAR. Thanks again, Larry

If you did ... the technique for getting the PVC pipe out is as follows. To
allow the glass to release over a long run first lay a single layer of light
glass over the PVC and let it cure. Cut through this layer and move it around
till it is released down the full length then reposition where yo
Forgive me if this is an ignorant idea, but has anyone considered laying up
fiberglass tube tanks using PVC pipe as a male mold?

Bill Clapp has developed an alum.version of his original PVC tanks. I believe
he still has the PVC tanks in his plane. Most people have not noticed any
smell from fuel unless the tank is full and the vent is overflowing.
I have the same PVC tanks in my wings. Alum tanks will affect embedde

Hi guys and girls;
OK, I have had time to review my use of the KRnet search engine and it does
appear that I and possibly others don't really know how to use it properly
so I must apologize to the KRnet list moderator and ask for his forgiveness.
I also apologize to the members of the KRnet l

Gentlemen,
Consider yourself being warned. A KR with no wings attached CAN and WILL
become airborne. You will have no control and will subsequently destroy your
KR and possibly endure severe injuries. Have you not seen this warning from
the Surgeon General? You are flirting with disaster.

Greetings Neal:
I just had to reply to your post and say that you have more nerve than I

I don't believe I could taxi at your reported speed with no wings, and in
addition allow the tail wheel to get lightie: less noise..., I would
have liked to have been there. Rock on

I am concerned about the gap between the canopy and the body forward of the
canopy. I have a gap all the way across the plane, which is just under 1 inch

I'm not sure if this will make any difference with regards to "slosh",
but I believe the Yankee has a steeper win
I want to use METAL irrigation tubing. The plastic bothers me because it gets
brittle in cold weather, plus the info you provided below on weeping.
