Greetings Neal: I just had to reply to your post and say that you have more nerve than I do....smile... I don't believe I could taxi at your reported speed with no wings, and in addition allow the tail wheel to get light....ie: less noise..., I would have liked to have been there. Rock on.... I am interested what you find/decide with your second ignition and the timing etc. I have the same setup as you, (I purchased, did not build my plane) and do not have the timing info. Just today I am checking/cleaning my plugs and replacing wires. In my last flight, I noticed a vibration that I believe is new. I only have about a dozen short flights and am just beginning to calm down and notice things other than my white knuckles... I would like to have the timing procedure for the mag also....It is probably in the archives, I just have not looked yet. Any how, good luck and take care.
